Ruby was our first girl, full of personality, mischief, and a sweetness that could melt anyone’s heart. We lost her far too soon and unexpectedly, and the hole she left behind was bigger than we could have imagined.
A few years later, we faced heartbreak again when we had to say goodbye to our sweet Honey Pot, also unexpectedly and far too soon. Losing both of them changed us forever — but it also inspired us.
We knew we wanted to honour their memory in a way that didn’t just look back with sadness but moved forward with joy. That’s how the idea for Ruby Chewsday was born — to celebrate the love and laughter they gave us by creating something that would bring that same joy to others.
